Trivia Night Friday 30th April 2002
Lucky
door prize is a night for up to 4 people at the

Apartment
staying
in the Penthouse Suite, champagne and chocolate on arrival and
breakfast in the morning.
Another
major prize is a night at the Hilton
Hotel
for two people staying in Deluxe room with buffet breakfast.
Other
prizes to be won on the night include voucher for dinner, bottles of
wine, and lamp
Friday
August 30th is
the night for Trivia Night where all the questions will be related
to Deafness i.e. people, sports, building, events and much more.
Prizes to be won and get a table of five now or let VCOD put
you on a table. MC for
the night is Simon Andersson and the John Hunt will be writing the
questions. Cost is
Under
15 free,
15 to 17 years old $5
Over 18 and member of VCOD $8
Over 18 and non Member of VCOD $12
Doors
open 6 30pm and starts at 7pm.
You can BYO drinks (alcohol too) and snacks and VCOD will
provide light food.

Deaf Games Registration Night on 20th September 2002 at Vicdeaf's
Coffee Lounge 101 -117 Wellington Parade South, East Melbourne from
7 pm to 10 pm. Melbourne Deaf Club will be open. We will also accept
Accommodation bookings on the night – remember first in, first
serve! So don’t miss out!
Melbourne Museum Tour in AUSLAN
Melbourne
Museum have a print version of the audio guide for The Italians:
Three Centuries of Italian Art exhibition here at Melbourne
Museum. Visitors whose hearing is not up to using the audio guides
need only ask for the print version at the entry desk on arrival at
the exhibition.
We are running one AUSLAN tour of The Italians each month
at 2.00pm [25 September] and also we still run
the AUSLAN Tour of Melbourne Museum on the second Sunday of the
month at 2.30pm [NEXT 8 September and 13 October].

Relay Interpreting Course at Vicdeaf (information

Starts
22nd August to 17th October on Thursday
evening only from 6pm to 9pm. Cost is $200 per person and is for Deaf people who wish to
work as Relay interpreter with people who are Deaf or Deafblind.
