Announcement from ANZ Banking
We can arrange for interpreters for deaf and hearing-impaired
customers through the deaf associations in each state of Australia. If
you require the assistance of an interpreter, please contract the
manager of your local branch of ANZ. The service usually takes a few
days to arrange.
Our automated telling service queuing system, Q-matic, has been
improved and Q-matic machines now have both visual and audio prompts.
If you have concerns about using the Q-matic machine in your local ANZ
branch, please let a member of staff know.
With ANZ Phone Banking you can talk to a Customer Service Consultant
from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday (AEST). Hearing or speech impaired
customers can utilise the TTY (Telephone Typewriter) service by
calling us 1300 366 255. Customers with a disability who require the
assistance of the National Relay Service can contact ANZ and conduct
their banking securely via that service.
Our branch staff have undergone specific training in meeting the needs
of customers with a disability, and will be more than happy to assist
in whatever way may be required.
