Nolan Locked bag 5380 Mobile Phones and loop attachments (An email from a VCOD reader) In my working environment, I have found that the Nokia 3310 with an
Induction Loop very successful. I have found that it is clearer that the
volume control phone I use at home. Prior to using the 3310, I had a Nokia
5110 with Induction Loop but due to the fragile male connection (plastic),
it was not cost effective @ $115.00 as they have to replace the whole
unit. As usual, hearing-impaired people are
being slugged by Telstra again to pay for such equipment required so that
we can be on par with the rest of the community. There should be
concessions. Telstra make such huge profits and for such a minority of the
population, we receive little support.
